Shane Crawford tackles six big selection dilemmas in SuperCoach this year

THE curtain is up on SuperCoach 2015 and the bargain hunt is on.

As of today every player's price is revealed to all and we can start trying to cram as many of the superstars and exciting recruits into our squads as we can.

This is where to start — 10 players who are way underpriced, mostly due to injury and form issues last year.

Most of these guys have runs on the board and we expect them all to bounce back and generate plenty of points — and cash — for our SuperCoach teams.

1. Jesse Hogan (Melbourne) $130,400 forward

Won the Casey Scorpions VFL B&F in 2013 at age 18 and finally ready to show us what he can do after a cruel injury run. Will give Demon fans and SuperCoaches plenty to cheer about.

2. Dane Swan (Collingwood) $464,500 midfield/forward

Averaged at least 115 points a game for four years in a row before a self-confessed "putrid" 2014 season plagued by various ailments. Price is massive unders and he can be picked in the forward line. Get on.

3. Mitch Clark (Geelong) $155,200 forward

Ludicrously cheap for centre half-forward in a possible top-four team. The big query is his body after playing just four games in the past two years.

4. Ryan Griffen (GWS) $530,700 midfield

Hated the game so much last year he almost quit. In a happier place now (western Sydney, believe it or not) and ready to recapture his 2013 form when he scored 120-plus eight times.

5. Jack Steven (St Kilda) $455,900 midfield

Last season was a write-off for the young Saint who averaged 110 points a game when he had a clear run with injury in 2013.

6. Andrew Swallow (North Melbourne) $500,600 midfield

Priced at a 93 average but expect the Kangaroos skipper to be closer to the 110-mark with a full pre-season under his belt.

7. Nathan Van Berlo (Adelaide) $215,600 midfield

Speaking of injuries, the Crows veteran has received a huge discount after a training sled sliced open his Achilles tendon 12 months ago, wiping out his 2014 season. Don't expect big hundreds but a solid 80-point average will make us plenty of cash.

8. Beau Waters (West Coast) $267,200 defender

Definition of the phrase high risk, high reward. An injury waiting to happen but the Eagles tough nut has averaged 100 as recently as 2012 and has ticked all the pre-season boxes so far.

9. Nathan Freeman (Collingwood) $123,900 midfield

Taken at No.10 in the 2013 draft but never got a look in last year thanks to hamstring worries. Burning up the track over summer and will get game time in a regenerating Magpie midfield.

10. Nathan Krakouer (Port Adelaide) $106,900 midfield/forward

The 26-year-old is back after starring in the SANFL last season. Might find it hard to crack the powerful Port line-up but he's ready to go and at that price worth a spot on the bench.
